Teresa Jenkins Author Biography Cranberry Lake is Ms. Jenkins’ first book. This book was inspired by a recent trip to the Adirondacks and an opportunity to explore some of the beautiful lakes and islands. She hopes to write additional books and explore other genres of creative writing. Ms. Jenkins was a senior executive working for President Clinton and President George W. Bush. She served as the Deputy Chief Human Capital Officer and Associate Director for Management Services at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and was the primary advisor to the Director, OPM on strategic human capital issues including crafting legislation for the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. After leaving the Federal Government, Teresa created the JenNel Co LLC providing HR consulting and professional development services with clients including the US Marine Corps in Okinawa, the Thai Civil Service in Bangkok, the TSA, the VA, Commerce, ATF, Census and has facilitated recently with Edison State College. Teresa has also been very involved with the League of Women Voters and currently serves on the Florida Board of Directors. Ms. Jenkins has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland Teresa and her husband Steve are avid golfers and love to travel. She hopes to gain further inspiration for her next book as they travel back to England, France, and Spain this summer. They reside in southwest Florida with their cat, Dillon.
