About the Author:
Ray Shilling was born in London, England, and grew up in Nassau, Bahamas. He went on to university in California and has lived there ever since. He is blessed with a beautiful wife and two children who provide him with endless joy and true meaning in his life. He is an engineer by training and has worked in a wide variety of technical disciplines, including: Dam and Tunnel Design, Wireless Ethernet Hardware, Network Cameras, Solar Energy, Water Quality and Software Development. He has a passion for learning new technologies and everything digital - this is well reflected in the over-the-top, geeked-out descriptions in his writing. Ray grew up on and in the water, and can often be found on his windsurf board, sailboat or SCUBA diving with his wife. When on land, his passion includes playing football (round ball) with other aging 40-something nuts.
