On a hot summer night six years ago, six young men’s lives become entwined as a petty fight at a high school graduation party escalates into a street race through a canyon in the Hollywood hills. An accident leaves three brothers trapped in their burning car. The brothers, who happen to be triplets and the brilliant tri-valedictorians of their class, have their future dreams of working together in a law practice wiped out in a moment of madness. Devin Ring, the youngest triplet and driver of the car, blames himself for the crash and wants vengeance against the three boys that ran them off the road. His only problem is that he cannot remember anything about the accident. Suffering horrific burns, Devin has a nervous breakdown as his brothers, Steven and Justin, battle to survive. Hospitalized for over a year and undergoing intense physical and psychiatric therapy, Devin desperately tries to remember the names and faces of his tormentors. His brothers want him to forgo his thoughts of retribution and move on with his life but Devin is determined. Nursing a fragile recovery, it takes four years but Devin finally sees one of the boys, Ted Hawley, and the memories come rushing back. Devin is now ready to carry out his plan for revenge. He will get the other two names from Ted and force them all to feel what it would be like to know that death by fire is their destiny and that they will be helpless to stop it. But Devin does not know that two men have come to Ted’s house the night of the fire to pick up a shipment of crystal meth. They watch Devin leave the scene and are certain he has taken their drugs. Devin now has a conflict on two fronts: finding the other passengers in the truck that ran them off the road whose identities Ted has revealed and a showdown with another group of men trying to get their drugs back or face a deadly reckoning of their own. Mind on Fire tells the story of a young man hell bent on revenge that will let no one stand in the way of meting out his own twisted sense of justice.
