Bernice Erehart was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. She is the middle child of Howard and Vincenza, with two older sisters and an older brother, as well as three younger sisters. Because of them, she is now called "aunt" by six nephews and five nieces, and great aunt by five great nephews and five great nieces. She lives a quiet life with her kitties Boo, Chipee, and Lucy. Out of Time is Bernice Erehart's first novel.

Sam is from the 23rd century where there is less than 500,000 people left in the world. His mission is to travel to the 21st century to get help from Emily to help him save mankind from extinction. Their love story is real and not without ups and downs. Then there's Arthur and Boo (also from the 23rd century) who bring their own style of love and disharmony to the story - page after page ignites the fire that only Sam can put out in his own unique way. The end leaves you wanting more and hopefully there will be.
