About the Author:
Still writing and publishing into his nineties, Donald J. Young continues to be a marvel of creativity. A Harvard graduate, Young has penned novels (The Reunion, The Battle for Snow Mountain), novellas (The Ascending Star and Other Stories, A Minor Engagement and Other Stories) and poetry collections (The Collected Poems, The Shore of the Unknown, Illumination, Sonnets on Shakespeare, and Selected Poems), among others. He also served as a soldier and POW in World War II, which illuminates much of his writing, and taught creative writing in Massachusetts, California, and in London.
