"This book has been dedicated to the many troops who know the peril of PTSD, TBI, and trauma. It has been written to act as a guide to inspire and help others find hope in the possibility of recovery and regaining the parts of themselves they thought were once lost. I was encouraged to tell my story of TBI, PTSD, and trauma by the many troops I spent my time volunteering for at the medical hold at the local Army base. They told me my story can help others and that's what I intend for it to do. The book is based on a presentation I gave to military medical staff at the base and walks you through what these conditions are like from the inside out.
