9781504923187: God Sent Me to Love You

This book will appeal to people who read authors such as the late Zig Ziglar and people who read authors such as Max Lucado. Each of the ten chapters describes how to apply love in different settings, at work, in intimate relationships, with money, for country, and in forgiving people who have wronged you. I wrote with facts, tips for immediate use, biblical justification, and humor. The book includes a chapter titled “The Three-Second Makeover.” That chapter will be presented in a fast-moving five-minute video that excites people about their potential to quickly shift their focus from ordinary to extraordinary by doing something as incredibly simple as raising their chin three and a half inches. The core message of the book is that we are commanded by God to love our neighbor (everyone on Earth) and expressly forbidden to hate. The chapter on “Love of Country” examines three different Americas-early America, when God repeatedly used miracles to save George Washington and the Continental Army; modern America, where immorality has taken over our values and destroyed much of our principles; and what America could still be if we were to have an epidemic of repentance. I point out that as far as a revival is concerned, we have been there and done that for a brief three weeks after the bombing of the towers in New York in 2001. We do not need to stage yet another showy demonstration of pseudo-worship, but we must have a massive coming to God, begging forgiveness, one sinner at a time.
