9781507654781: Xylander: A Spirit Traveler Beginning (Volume 1)

Charlotte is a normal teen living in rural Arkansas in the late 1980s when one day as she is following her dog through the woods her spirit leaves her body and is thrust into the body of an Osage Indian girl living in the past. As she tries to figure out why this has happened to her, she falls in love with a handsome warrior named Stomping Bull whom she is to marry in two months time. Just when she thinks she will never return to her previous life again, she is guided back by her spirit guide, a wolf. Her life becomes even more complicated when a handsome new guy comes to her school who may have some answers as to why she can go back and forth between lives and what is the purpose of it all. To make matters worse, someone on both sides seems determined to make life difficult for her and will do anything to have her all to himself. Charlotte's character and life is based on the author's own life and events that happened to her when she was a teen. However, some events have been embellished and written as a work of fiction and should not be misconstrued as fact.
