Born near Princeton University, Chibi has always been destined for greatness. And, as an adorable Brussels Griffon pup, she’s no stranger to getting plenty of attention. So it only makes sense that she would write a book about the fun and fascinating details of a dog’s life—as she lives and travels with her mommy and daddy, bringing joy wherever she goes.

Nowadays Chibi lives in a big apartment in Greenwich Village, though becoming a New York City dog took some adjustment. There’s barking etiquette and puppy pads to worry about, plus the doggie discrimination—with few exceptions, she can’t enjoy outings with her family at plays, movies, or the opera.

No matter what, though, Chibi loves her New York life. She’s visited countless local sites and met many interesting people along the way. And her international travels have taken her everywhere from Paris to Tokyo.

As dictated to her daddy, Marv Rubinstein, Chibi, a Dog in New York is a humorous point-of-view narrative, exploring city living, travel, and family relationships through the eyes of a curious canine.
