Not long ago, my mind was subject to a relatively rare syndrome called Transient Global Amnesia--which literally erased and rebooted my conscious memory. While fragile at first, after several months most of my memories rebuilt themselves and I regained some semblance of equilibrium. Memory. She appears often in this book. During the morning meditations that I found necessary since that event, I discovered that I was increasingly inspired to craft the short verses and narratives that make up this collection. The elusive concept of consciousness, intermingled with variant conceptual currents, melded upon a far horizon; these are the threads that bind this book. Herein is found a metaphysical meditation on the nature of mind, soul and spirit, rendered in a series of verses and essays. Included is a compilation of photographic images which complement the written material.
