About the Author:

Born on the Southern Tip of Lake Michigan and educated at the University of Cincinnati, GREGORY H. JENKINS has focused his career on Architecture, Photography and Historic Preservation. He founded Gregory H. Jenkins Architect in 1984, which has been responsible for the documentation of more than 8 million feet of new construction and renovation. In 2009 he authored the book Chicago Figural Sculpture, 1871-1923. In early 2010 he launched the Chicago Poster Project. In 2011 he founded THECHICAGOLOOP.ORG. He has been published in numerous publications including the Chicago Tribune and Shore Magazine. He is a practicing Architect with studios in Chicago and Miller Beach.
