The Washington, DC based Americana band South Rail formed in April of 2012 and has been rolling ever since. After a few mildly successful regional tours and a rejection by a potential booking manager, they decided to take matters into their own hands. What followed was a campaign where fans could pick cities, and South Rail would come play them. This turned into a national tour with 34 dates, 33 cities and a whole lot of driving in-between. This illustrated tour journal gives a thoughtful recollection of the journey; complete with missteps, hilarious encounters and an overwhelming amount of good will.
