"Warrior" is a book I spent seven years writing while working full time, raising a family and doing the other things that we call "life." It's the first novel that I've published, and is the first in a four book series which will be published through 2015 and perhaps into 2016, depending on how much I can write. The book is set in a stone age culture that is being invaded by a more technologically advanced culture. The magic in the book is unique and compelling, and fits in well with the focus on intense action sequences. I enjoyed writing the book, and am enjoying writing the sequels.About the Author:
In my life I have been a physicist, a programmer, an editor, a publisher, a manager, and a project/program manager. I have had a lifetime of fascination with the universe, time, and spirituality. My favorite literature has always been books that have deeply explored the fundamental nature of life, purpose, and morality. It was reading books like "Lord of the Rings" or "Dune" or the great works of Heinlein, Asimov, and Clarke that drove my desire to be a writer. And it was reading the works of Twain, Steinbeck, Hesse, Salinger and others that made me realize the potential that great literature has to bring readers to a deeper awareness of the universe and themselves.
