About the Author:

Michael Hines, a retired professor of Christian history, earned a Master of Divinity Degree with an emphasis on Church History from The Cincinnati Christian University in 1981. He studied American Social History at the University of Colorado (Boulder), University of Cincinnati, and Boise State University. Hines taught in the college classroom more than 20 years and online since 2001. He currently serves as an adjunct professor for Manhattan Christian College, Manhattan, KS. Previous works include a autobiography, two small books on Church History, and a significant work entitled A History of the American Restoration Movement.
