A copywriter by profession, Mimi Tanaman was born in Brooklyn, NY. At age 18, after completing one year at Brooklyn College, she married and moved to Israel where she worked on a kibbutz, completed BA and MA studies in Psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, toured the country performing with a bluegrass band, and eventually established her own translation and copywriting company serving Israel’s advertising sector and industry leaders for over 20 years. With a side career in theatre, Mimi has acted, directed, and made TV appearances. She has also translated books, novels, plays, film scripts, and children’s stories in rhyme. This is her first book publication. Mimi resides in Ra’anana, Israel with her British-Israeli husband. Together they share 12 grandchildren.
