About the Author:
Glen R. Stansfield is a qualified aircraft engineer, a profession he has pursued for over forty years. A lifelong interest in crime, in particular forensic psychology, led him to write his debut novel, Fishing for Stones. Glen is working on his second novel, Harry, a tense thriller set in Kuwait and London and expected to be published in the summer of 2015. When not writing, he can usually be found on two wheels, often using his motorcycle to raise money for charity. His work has taken him to Bahrain, where he lives with his wife, Jess. He has three children, all adults now.
Review:
An outstanding debut effort ByThomas E. Perry ..an intriguing blend of greed, need and opportunity, with two men dancing on the edges of the law... a stash of diamonds of questionable moral source... more than a hint of high-level criminal double-crossing, and the picturesque setting of the Scottish Highlands... mix well, and bring to the boil... a droll, Scots detective tracks down the execution of a well-planned crime...or is it?...
