An intense, white, light, a summoning parent or relative, and a tunnel, from which you might never return; these are common threads that run through many near-death experiences. However, each tale is unique in its own way, drawing from memories of loved ones who have crossed the spiritual divide that separates us all from the eternities. This is one woman’s true story, taken from not one death experience, but four, all transpiring on a single trauma-filled night, three weeks after a knee replacement surgery. The events are recounted in vivid detail; the sights, sounds, and images have been forever etched into her psyche, and now, for the first time, she shares them with you. No one knows the time, the day, or the place that death’s cold fingers will extend themselves to touch an individual and call them home. Proclaiming the event cold is perhaps the exact opposite of what dying is really like. For the living, passing seems chilling, if not outright fearful, but as recounted in this life-and-death tale, the sensation was welcoming and warm. You might well imagine suddenly being surrounded by family members you’ve loved and missed – the reunion, though oddly new, would conjure deep, tender emotions of severed, but not forgotten, relationships. For now, strap yourself in and get ready to feel every skipped beat of this brave woman’s failing heart, as she suffers a massive, life-taking myocardial infarction. Bounce along in the back of a responding ambulance, and feel your own heart skip a beat as hers stops and the EMTs quickly resuscitate their patient. However, in that brief moment, the first of her four brushes with the other-side begins. Today, she lives a changed life, one filled with renewed purpose and foresight. She sees people, not only for who they are physically, but also through spiritual eyes that have been awakened since her enlightening experience. Come along...this is a journey you will not soon forget, and a story that will teach, as well as entertain.

Linda Mango originally hales from the seat of American History and Democracy – Boston, Massachusetts. It was there, as a young girl, that the notion of writing caught her attention and she’s had an ongoing love affair with pen and paper, ever since. In 1994, while living in Boston, Reader’s Digest published one of her short stories, which captured the emotions of thousands and endeared her to readers worldwide. The piece featured a young boy with cancer and chronicled his father’s hopes and dreams for his son. That was years ago, but her writing journey is far from over. Since her days in Massachusetts, she has lived in Florida and now currently resides in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, home to sprawling farms, endless rolling hills and the Amish. The setting is ideal for a grandmother, who longed to be near her son and grandchildren, and where she could write her remarkable true story. The road from Boston to Linda’s current home has been marked with great blessings and tremendous challenges. Dancing in the Light is her story. There are few who have traversed the veil between our earthly plane and the eternities, and returned to tell their story – Linda is one of the choice few. Some time ago, she suffered a massive heart attack and left her earthly existence behind, not once, but four times, and on each occasion she drew closer to family members who beckoned her to return. Her message, to all those with an open mind and an ear for heaven, is that it is real. Death is not to be feared but just another step along our incredible, eternal march. Today, she lives with her supportive husband and close friend, Bella, a pint-sized dog, whom she is training to offer therapy at local hospitals and nursing home facilities. To keep herself active, Mrs. Mango spends her time writing and dabbling with photography. A heart attack, brain injury, and a mix of unique circumstances have not slowed this courageous woman down or stopped her from sharing her light with the world. Listen to her and take the hand of one who’s been there...and back.
