Castro’s Revolution Untold is a new and profound analysis of one of the most important social process in the American continent. The book presents an unparallel approach of that historic event, thus correcting historical myths. The author scrutinizes several clichés about Castro’s Revolution and as a result of her research is able to deliver facts and data that have been overlooked so far. Many are attracted by the portrait that Castro’s has built up of himself for many years; others reject him strongly. By using Castro’s and Che Guevara’s testimonies, the author provides credibility to her main statement: reality is kept inside a carapace.

About the Author:
Estela Teresita Delgado was born in the fisherman town of Cojímar, a town whose portrait was masterfully described by Ernest Hemingway in his book The Old Man and the Sea. She was born on November 12, 1956, twenty days before Fidel Castro landed in Cuba in his Gramma yacht and two years before the rebels entered Havana. Most of her life was lived under Communism and the principles of Castro’s revolution. Estela Teresita graduated from Havana University in 1984, with a Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in translation and interpretation from the English Language. She graduated with honors in Tourism Administration from Klessheim Institute of Salzburg in 1983. She held several management positions in Cuba’s tourism industry, which made it possible for her to visit and live in several countries. The author lived in exile for two years in Madrid and now resides in Naples, Florida. She was the editor for a newspaper of the Hispanic community in Southwest Florida and also conducted a radio show. This is her first book in English. She has published a collection of short stories, Almas Escondidas, and her poems, The Lord is My King and Walk to Heaven, have been used as lyrics for songs.
