A detective story - Are three gruesome murders part of a serial or is it a case of not seeing the wood for the trees? Strange fantasies haunt what might be simple case in the classical English fashion? Scotland Yard has to call in a retired Assistant Commissionner and a very strange person, "Mr Adamson", who is very strict on discipline indeed. Suspense gets thicker as the trap finally closes upon the criminal - or does it? The final pursuit in Soho leaves one panting with excitement and fear. Young D.I. Doyle will certainly never forget how he had to conduct the unique interview of a difficult witness, - and he will be made to wonder about what is on the mind of lovely Jessica. This is perfect holiday reading or commuter reading. It is not a "gay book", it is just a book where some of the characters happen to be gay.
