9781515293620: The Last Pagan: Fall Of African Religion & Enthronement of Corruption

Beshi visits a girlfriend in company of his friend Udom. A lion appears from a nearby bush. Beshi runs into a room. The lion devours Udom and sniffs out Beshi, drags him outside and heads back into the bush. Beshi survives the attack by whiskers, and because people speculate that the lion was conjured by his family's enemy, he leaves Oguta and swears never to return. Decades later, his thirteen-year old son disappears from a Church service, on a journey to an unknown address, to look for his family home at Oguta, where the worship of Ancestors and deities conflicts with Christianity. This is a fast paced story of adventure, corruption and conflict of beliefs.
