I used to get paid to write about beer and to lead backpacking trips into the wilderness, but I am drawn to story telling--fiction--the tall tale. I lived many places growing up: Haight/Ashbury in San Francisco, Davis and the mountain town of Happy Campy. I learned something from each place and from the people there. Also, once upon a time, I sang for the rock band Psycho the Clown. All of this and more, but maybe read my novels if you want the more.
