C. L. Threatt developed a love for writing at an early age after he was entered into a poetry reading contest by his 7th grade literature teacher. After this experience, he began reading and writing poetry as a hobby and eventually started turning his poetry into children’s books. He has traveled to hundreds of schools and various other facilities to educate, entertain, and inspire thousands of children and adults of all ages. He has hosted several seminars and workshops where he has taught many people how to pursue their dream of becoming a published author. He is not only an author and poet, but also a husband, father and grandfather. He lives in Odenville, AL (just northeast of Birmingham).
