An epic romp through space and time, mixing humour and tragedy with equal aplomb as we follow our anti-hero Dirk Heinemblud; an inept wizard with a sharp tongue and a knack of finding trouble, and his side kick Grot; a dour Dwarf with a martial mastery beyond any other and a habit of ending conflict before it even realized it's begun. Blood and Honour picks up Dirk's story as a 31 year old no-hoper, habitual womaniser and dedicated bum, whose only expertise seems to lie with his well honed cowardly skills of survival. His unlikely friend and companion Grot has long suffered Dirk's ineptitude and desperately seeks to improve both his friends outlook on life as well as his martial skills on an almost daily basis but with little success. Taking on Orcs, Dragons, Gods and everything in between; our duo's goal is simple from the offset: To journey to the mighty capital city of Caernthorn in time for the races, hoping to turn their small bounty of ill-gotten jewels into a fortune via the bookmakers. Yet there is far more going on beneath the surface and fate as well as demonic interference makes this anything but a simple foray. Dirk has a future; of which everyone is aware but him it seems; a barely spoken prophecy fabled to doom those who do speak of it. Grot's prophetic knowledge is as good as any others, yet beyond his rheumatic, greyed appearance is a much graver secret of which even he is only half aware and one he dare not share with anyone; Dirk included. All he can do is continue to try to guide his errant friend... Blood and Honour's mythological setting in history begins the first of a 9 book series, which will see their timeline converge with one similar to our own and further as they travel through the barriers of time; all the time learning and evolving. With each passing novel, Dirks understanding of the prophecy concerning him widens; with catastrophic consequences, which the reader will only fully comprehend in the final novel. This is far more than a new take on Pratchett. Far deeper than Asimov. Much scarier than the fairy tales of Tolkien. A book that will have you rereading old chapters as your own realizations take hold. A fairy tale for adults? Perhaps. A horror of circumstance? Most definitely. A comedy of errors? Shakespeare would be proud.

Lee Gresty is just another human being, who happens to be quite good at writing. He's also bloody good at acting and singing and can even hit balls in ball games. He's rubbish at snooker though because he needs glasses & is too vein to wear them in a pool hall. He has a family and a dog but no cat or robots. His son has a robot. Lee likes to ponder on many millions of subjects. He has a scientific mind and is often asked to go into politics due to his eloquent speaking and worthy views but resists because he believes he is too honest for most peoples liking. Lee has been writing since the age of 4, mostly without pay, though he has won several competitions for short story's and assorted poetry. He is; at the time of writing, living in dire poverty but tries not to moan about it too much and knows if he ever becomes a multi-millionaire, he will make the world a much better place. Lee hopes you enjoy reading his works and endeavors to reply personally to fans and friends alike, whenever he has the chance. Lastly, Lee hopes you forgive him for typing about him self in the 3rd person. He thinks it quite gimpy.
