This book presents the results of more than two thousand measurements, carried out in various Peruvian Museums, mainly by using X-rays methods (energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence, transmission measurements, radiography and micro-tomography).Gold and Silver artifacts were examined, but also objects on gilded copper, tumbaga, gilded silver…., mainly produced by the Moche civilization (100-600 A.D.).The book is partially the result of a bilateral Italy-Peru Project (CNR-CONCYTEC Project, 2009-2014) .
