Nancy Schechtman operated a home-based catering business before launching Nancy's Contemporary Foods, a gourmet food store in Highland Park, Illinois. After retiring, she operated a catering-as-a-career path program for at-risk high school students. She lives with her husband in Rancho Mirage, California.
