Take a trip back in time to the Roaring 20's and the nation's first transcontinental rail / air service...coast to coast from New York to Los Angeles, in 48 hours. Displaced in time, newspaper reporter Frank Johnson documents his adventures as he rubs shoulders with both every day people and 20th century legends like pilot Charles Lindbergh, Hollywood actor Gary Cooper, and the Mexican Spitfire, Lupe Velez. Join Frank as he rides the Airway Limited train out of Pennsylvania Station, flies on the Tin Goose, the plane that launched commercial aviation, encounters danger, embraces romance, and gets an insider's view of Gary Cooper's first "talkie", The Virginian. Don't miss "TAT", the inaugural entry of the Frank Johnson series of historical novels!

A.D. Liada was born in the mid 1950's in the deep south, then moved steadily north as his father followed his career. During his misspent youth he worked as orchard help, factory worker, truck driver, shipper/receiver, and roughneck on an oil rig, before stumbling into a career in computers back when the TRS-80 was the hottest thing on the market. Along the way he earned his commercial pilots license with an instrument rating and managed to cram four years of college into twelve, studying five different disciplines at six different institutions of higher learning, so called. He's an aficionado of both art deco objets d'art and mid century modern architecture and would rather be writing on a cross country train trip than pretty much anything. If you see a gray haired guy wearing a Panama Jack and typing on a Qwerkywriter, go ahead and interrupt him to say hello. You could be his next story.
