In this fascinating memoir German Krautrock musician Lutz Ulbrich (Lüül) - now Lutz Graf-Ulbrich - describes how he met and fell for Nico in the Seventies and how this encounter led to a rocky on- and off-love affair, a long prolific artistic synergy and a lifelong friendship.

Lutz Graf-Ulbrich played in German „Krautrock“ bands like Agitation Free, Ash Ra Tempel/ Ashra. He would accompany Nico on guitar at many of her subsequent concerts through the rest of the decade in Europe, USA and Canada. With Ash Ra Tempel he contributed the score for the Nico movie "Le Berceau de Cristal" by Philippe Garrel. He also organized her last concert for the festival „Fata Morgana - Desert sounds at the Planetarium“ in Berlin 1988. When she died only two months later he organized her funeral and later produced the CD „Nico’s last concert“.
