About the Author:

For the first 30 years of his life, Franz Spickhoff grew up, studied and worked in Germany. In 1968, he came to New York and resumed his work as a techie in the infant IT business. His job gave him the opportunity to work in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. In 1988, he and his wife settled in San Jose, California, where he now enjoys his retirement and his hobbies of backpacking, biking, swimming, reading mostly classical literature and much poetry. He is also known for occasionally delighting friends and family with his hot curries, made from scratch.
