About the Author:

Daphne M. Gulland graduated with Honours in English and German at London University. She is the co-author of the long-selling Penguin Dictionary of English Idioms’ and has also written Bildliche Redewendungen Englisch’ for the German publisher, Langenscheidt. She has written two other stories in easy English for children Wallpaper Whizzie’ and Tinki and the Cloud Fairies’. Daphne M. Gulland is a member of the Society of Authors.
