About the Author:
Troy Cowan was a school teacher and school administrator. He was fortunate to have taught in Guam, in Oregon, the Virgin Islands, and finally, Texas. In 2005, he was an assistant principal when he retired at Brenham High School. In the seventies, Troy's aunt, Jane R. Davis, wrote about Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln being brothers. For over fifty years, Troy didn't give it any thought. One day, he ran across a question on the Internet. That question asked if Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln were brothers. The answer given was NO. Troy knew that wasn't true. He wrote Lincoln, Davis, and Booth to set the record straight.
