Single has been a harsh companion to many of us. In a culture that glorifies romance and distorts our perception of True Love, many of us live with the primary goal of becoming un-single as quickly as possible. For those of us who are also Christ followers, we often wrestle with discontentment, struggling to reconcile our thoughts, fears, and desires in Single with the faith we hold so dearly. This book broaches the topic of Single in a fresh and personal way, speaking especially to Christian, single women, all the while staying grounded in what the Bible has to say about our relationships and desires. We will deal with questions like: - Does God want me to stay single forever? - Does my desire for a husband mean I don't desire God enough? - Why do I still feel so lonely? - Is there such thing as "the one" God has for me? - Are purity and marriage relevant to me in today's society? - Why is God holding me back from this one thing that I want so badly? With honest vulnerability, we will dive into exploring God's perspective toward us as His daughters, understanding our value and worth, redefining True Love, and discovering Grace in powerful new ways for our lives. I invite you to join me as I share with you from my own journey, and together, let's happily embrace the softer side of Single!
