*****BLACK & WHITE VERSION***** Chisel’s adventure continues on Volcano Island . . . but there are many surprises that threaten his journey, including a swamp monster, trees that grow feathers, an erupting volcano, and savage monkeys that chase him. He will find more diamonds than he can ever use, a secret that is the biggest in the world, and a lake with water like soda pop. All this and much more await Chisel while he continues to search for clues to solve the Valley’s mystery. “We found the boat and were afraid there might be an invasion, so when the tide was going out to sea we sort of untied your boat and let it go.” “You don’t ‘sort of’ untie a boat!” Chisel noted. “You either untie it or you don’t.” “Well, it wasn’t the ‘you don’t’ part,” they answered. Chisel slept that night knowing he might have to stay on the island forever and never see his home again!

The Chisel Hedgehog book series reminds me of when I once rose in a plane above rain and lightning to a beautiful blue sky atop a sea of cotton balls. I knew then that wherever we are, in whatever tough circumstances, life is better "somewhere" else -- and that somewhere is often a state of mind. That's when I moved from music producing to writing the Chisel Hedgehog series -- as fun, adventurous books for children with a positive theme, and music integrated into them. I find my creativity while experiencing the best things in life -- which are free: the sound of the ocean, the view at the top of a mountain, the wind on my face. It's been fun writing about it. Life is good.
