Any of these images would be a once-in-a-lifetime photo for anyone else, but each month of Storm Chasers 2025 Wall Calendar features a winning entry from the most recent Storm Photo of the Year Contest, judged by other pioneering storm photographers. About the Author
Created in 2021 by professional photographer and celebrated storm chaser Mike Olbinski, the Storm Photos of the Year (or "Stormys") is the first online contest of its kind to celebrate this death-defying community and the spectacular, real-life images they alone can create. With multiple categories, tiers of awards, and stringent guidelines to ensure the integrity of the images, the Storm Photo of the Year Contest draws entrants from around the globe, from Australia to Italy to Canada to the United States's famed Tornado Alley.
