“Daddy” was a Missouri teacher and a farmer who found himself widowed with five children in 1955. He subsequently lost three more wives, but even though he lived to be 104, he never lost his sense of humor. He had a remarkable memory, and a knack for quoting poetry or recalling a story for almost any situation. As the years went by, his second daughter began collecting his stories, and this book is a collection of them.
