Often considered a dreamer and a silly heart, Sarah grew up with an innate love and gift of creativity. Through out her childhood, she was known for creating her own radio show with the famous “Home Alone” tape recorder, for performing full-scale pageantry shows in her front yard, and for starting her own backyard neighborhood Olympics. Like Elizabeth Turner Campbell, there is always much joy to be found in her path. And like the children at the Center for Courageous Kids, there is much camaeaderie to share as Sarah was born with hip dysplasia and spent her toddler years in what she calls her “special shoes”. A daughter, a niece, and a friend to U.S. Veterans, Sarah spent much of her early years as any child should, enjoying childhood and creating fun. Yet in the midst of the creativity, there was also heartbreak and challenges. And from those difficult moments, Sarah loves to build bridges of hope by teaching children how to boost self-confidence, express their feelings, and live the life they imagine! When not playing the role of Little Betty, Sarah is also a wife and mother to three, an author, and an essential oils enthusiast. She is an Honors graduate of Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University and loves using her education and art to inspire, heal, and equip those who want to transform the world! Her adult coloring book and devotional 40 Days to a Joyful Motherhood is available in stores and online. For more info on Sarah, go to www.sarahhumphrey.com. A native Kentuckian, John has been drawing since he was old enough to hold a pencil. His career stems from years of doodling in class. His math teacher wasn’t happy, but his clients are. After high school, he spent 19 months as a missionary in Slovakia. He returned to the states to pursue a career in art, but his pencil sketches weren’t selling as well as Titanic’s Leonardo de Caprio had led him to believe. He decided to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta where drawing in class was actually encouraged. Graduating with a degree in graphic design, he received the A.I. Academic Achievement Award and was the only one of his class to finish without a body piercing. John now enjoys life in Bowling Green, Kentucky’s downtown with his wife and seven children. From graphic design he has branched out to manage ZebraGraphics there. His art and illustrations can be seen around town, woven into the fabric of the Bowling Green community.
