Hello fantasy fans!
Michael's story and the world of Aylosia had replayed themselves hundreds of times in my head before I decided to write it down. It started with the image of a young man, sitting alone in a dilapidated flat. And the thought came to me, "But he's so much more than that." And so came the unwinding of his story to me.
Readers have commented on the world-building, on the unique magic and the strange creatures in my Aylosia series. But apart form that, this isn't your traditional Let's have loads of battle scenes sort of epic fantasy. If you've read the first book in the series, Dreams and Shadows, you'll know we get an intimate view of Michael: his thoughts and feelings. Woven Peril expands that a little, but otherwise follows a similar pattern.
