Synopsis
This month marks TEN YEARS OF KICK-ASS -- the greatest superhero comic of all time. That also means it's been 10 years since Hit-Girl, the world's deadliest tween assassin, exploded onto the scene to slaughter super-villains and serve hot justice to the scum of New York City. In KICK-ASS: THE DAVE LIZEWSKI YEARS VOL 2 she trains a novice Kick-Ass in the lethal fighting styles she learned from Big Daddy. In return, Kick-Ass is helping her survive middle school...without any bloodshed. When Kick-Ass gets benched, Hit-Girl has to take on the Mafia solo. To celebrate the launch of the NEW Kick-Ass series, all four volumes of KICK-ASS: THE DAVE LIZEWSKI YEARS are being released through Image Comics. Collects Hit-Girl 1 issues 1-5.

About the Author
Multi award-winning writer Mark Millar is the writer of JUPITER'S LEGACY from Image Comics, which he co-created with artist Frank Quitely. Also at Image, his WANTED comic series was the industry's biggest-selling creator-owned book of the last ten years until he smashed his own record with KICK-ASS, each issue selling more than Spider-Man and X-Men from issue one with an unprecedented five printings every issue. Both properties were sold as movies before the first issue hit the stands and everything Millar has ever created is in various stages of theatrical development. Wanted starred Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy. Kick-Ass stars actor Nicolas Cage.
In addition to WANTED and KICK-ASS, Millar has revamped the X-Men, launched a number one Spider-Man title, brought Captain America into the 21st Century and made Superman a communist.
