About the Author

Bob Wearley attended Purdue University, the University of Maryland and the University of Oklahoma. He retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Lt. Colonel after 17 years on active duty and 3 years in the reserves. He served as Chief Pilot for Howard Hughes' personal aircraft fleet for 9 years, as a Singapore Airlines Boeing 747 Captain for 5 years and as a Royal Jordan Airlines Boeing 747 Captain for 1 year. He also served for 7 years on the Ft. Wayne Int'l Airport (FWA) Board of Directors, for 5 years as Marketing Director for FWA and as Chairman of the Voters Assembly at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, President of the Congregation of Promise Lutheran Ministries LCMS, Board member of the Washington House Treatment Center, President of the Allen County Jail Chaplaincy, Volunteer Jail Chaplain, Board member of the Faith Based Mentoring Ministries and Founder and President of Indiana Strategic Air Transportation Services (a part of NASA's SATS Program) from 2000-2005.
