About the Author:
Chris spent much of his young life in a religious environment with a negative view of gays, lesbians, and others who fell under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. As he grew up he became increasingly uncomfortable with those views and found that they were incompatible with the friendly relationships he developed with members of the queer community. Chris Bartlett founded and trademarked The Quick and Dirty Guide in 2016 after a debilitating injury left him only partially mobile for several months. During that time and his subsequent recovery he has become enthralled with the opportunities that self-publishing offers and hopes to connect with other passionate people who want to live their dreams. Chris spends his free time traveling, reading sci-fi, and working out. He is passionate about understanding other people and cultures, ketogenic diets, and physical fitness. He wants desperately for everyone to realize just how small their individual perception of the world is and to accept that we have to listen to others to grow as a people. Chris currently lives in Colorado with a Chihuahua named Sophia.
