Mika Kaiyou is a fun and innocent daydreamer attending the university, Japan Fine Arts (JFA) as a storywriting major. She enjoys writing, but often finds herself distracted with fantasies of her classmate, Nouya Hachimori, a very skilled and very dedicated writer. He is all she thinks about, secretly carrying around a small stuffed toy she pretends is Nouya, to act out her girlish fantasies. Because of Mika's talents and eccentricities, Nouya, despite having a mainly studious nature, is drawn to her from the beginning, yet is hiding secrets of his own behind his displays of kindness and lighthearted affinity. This marks the beginning of a quirky courtship filled with both harmless fun as well as numerous crises along the way.

Wade Wheelington III, known as "Cito," is a dreamer who came from America to become a manga-ka. Ever since he was only 3 years old, Cito was always into cartoons and comics. Drawing little comic strips and detailed pictures was a beloved hobby of his, mostly of supeheroes from American comics. In St. Louis, his hometown, every year there was an annual Japanese Festival, the Wheelington Family always attended. Because of this, Cito became very interested in Japanese culture and dreamed of living in Japan one day. In high school, Cito starting learning the Japanese language in hopes to bring him once step closer to his dream. Along with drawing characters from his favorite animes such as "Speed Racer" and "Sailor Moon," his desire grew stronger. Over the years, Cito published two chapters of his original series "Love or Duty." After which his developed his own trademark called "ShugoPro." Along with that, he entered numerous art contests and sold his works independently at different shows. Finally, after much effort, Cito was finally able to move to Japan. While living in Nagano, he sharpened his language skills at Nagano Kokusai Bunka Gakuin. Upon moving to Tokyo, he began to attend Tokyo Communication Arts Specialty School, where he was taught many new art skills. After a period of learning and drawing his own manga, he published his first fully completed series, "Blue Crisis Love." Cito is an outgoing and friendly person and cherishes everyone he meets. Because of having such a large circle he has had many fun and interesting experiences. It is a known fact that most of his manga stories are actually more like autobiographical essays as a large number of situations and scenes that are depicted in his stories are taken directly from his own life. This is proof that Cito has loved the life he has lived and hopes others can also live a fun and exciting life while making their dreams come true.
