About the Author

Susan Dunn Cobb, born in Santa Barbara, California and sent away by her father at the age of four, writes about episodes of her life and the many challenges overcome by her unique experiences. The stories portray the years of homelessness while struggling with a disability and raising a large family. The power of raw faith sustained and motivated her to become an activist for the rights of the poor and disenfranchised people living in the land of the free and the home of the brave. She remains committed to that cause. The disability healed, her children survived, and all are doing well with amazing stories of their own. She and her beloved husband raised another family, still have an old cat left behind when the last kid moved out, and the adventure continues while living on a sailboat and floating somewhere near the central coast of Florida. The author contemplates further how she might share her passion for life and the people living it. The future is bright with promise, testimonies of what occurred will continue to be written as days are added to her life, and the sunrises on the ocean are beyond gorgeous.
