The Multilevel Method is part of Teach for Freedom, and therefore of the libertarian line of education. It was adopted by CSTJ in the 80s. CSTJ is a college that belongs to a Catholic order of nuns. It was also adopted at ATC in the 2000s. This method is a brilliant solution for situations in which you have a multilevel group and a single discipline or a single-level group and many disciplines. Multilevel refers to varied school years. This method teaches skills that empower the person for life. It is probably the greatest teaching method ever created. It perfectly aligns with Flash Therapy and Lea Maria's Method of Raising Kids.

"I am a teacher. I teach English as a second language, specifically in China, South Korea, and Thailand. That is why I decided to read Multilevel Method by Dr. Marcia Pinheiro. In ESL, (English as a second language), I often encounter classrooms full of students at various levels of English proficiency. I thought there might be something useful for this particular situation in a book in the education genre with a title like Multilevel Method. I did not have to read too far into the book to realize that it would be a great help in certain, very specific situations. This book is for someone teaching children the more traditional subjects like reading, writing, math, history, social studies, etc. Though it is not written with ESL in mind, I will think about how I can implement some of the methods and strategies, because apparently they work very well.
Dr. Marcia Pinheiro has written a first-person account of her own experience with the Multilevel Method and she considers it far superior to any other systems. I suspected that this method was created for school systems with very specific needs and very limited resources. By the time I read the chapter titled simply Teacher, I knew that the method was valid and I kept reading because it was informative and I could see how this method could be invaluable to the right teacher and students in very specific situations. The writing is simple but compelling. Multilevel Method is organized logically and with every critical aspect of the method described and critiqued carefully. It covers what is expected and needed from teacher and students, but most of all, Dr. Pinheiro says it works. I believe her."Ray Simmons, Readers' Favorite
