About the Author

Rev. Dr. Barry A. Allen is an Ordained Minister, and he has served as a pastor for fourteen years. He is blessed to be the happy husband of Libby and the proud father of Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Campbell University and his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology Degrees from Duke University Divinity School. He also received Doctor of Biblical Studies and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from Andersonville Theological Seminary. In 2015, he completed the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in "Biblical Studies" at Atlantic Coast Theological Seminary with a dissertation on Psalm 23. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and daughter, reading, playing guitar, and studying as a Lifelong Learner. Converted in 1990, he has served, worshipped, and walked with Jesus Christ for over a quarter of a century. He is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. He is the son of Mr. Herbert and Mrs. Sarah Allen, and he is the brother of William and the late George Allen.
