It IS a Laughing Matter is a humorous collection of anecdotes, jokes, quotations, and epitaphs about death. These can be read and enjoyed from at least two levels--sheer enjoyment, and as a coping mechanism through difficult times. Dr. Bernard Siegel is one physician who has recognized the beneficial effect humor has had on his cancer patients. I truly believe humor has had, and still has, a beneficial effect on me. This book is packed with humor that filled my life as I stared down death.
