Synopsis
After tragedy strikes the Grace Ranch during the first stages of the great Civil War, Myra Ann Grace plans to return to her uncle's horse ranch in the New Mexico Territory, Myra's birthplace. A series of circumstances leaves Myra wandering alone in a country full of unknown dangers and an uncertain future. Given the chance to play a small part in the Pony Express, Myra is dubbed, The Loner, by the many riders and station keepers. Once the Pony plays out, Loner once again finds herself aimlessly roaming the land in search of a place to belong. Relying on the mercies of a Navajo village hidden in the depths of a small canyon, Loner begins to learn their ways and in turn teaches them her Christian faith and values. Years later, she joins the United States Army as an interpreter and peace keeper between the warring Apache and U.S. soldiers while protecting her secret Navajo village from discovery. Myra’s journey continues in, Fierce Grace: A Truth Revealed.

About the Author
Amanda Grace is a young author blazing her own way into the published world through self-publishing. She started writing when she was twenty-two and completed her first two western historical novels, Fierce Grace: A Courage to Endure and Fierce Grace: A Truth Revealed after turning twenty-six. She also writes short, humorous, personal narratives about her unique lifestyle living on a farm with seven brothers. Homeschooled and raised with Christian values, Amanda has grown up learning how to cook and care for her family of ten. During her free time, she enjoys riding her horse through the Ozark Hills with her dog and often seeks out solitude in the company of the wild horse herd that roams not far from her farm near Eminence, Missouri.
