About the Author

Over the past 25 years, I've dedicated myself to my passion, arts and crafts. My love story with this field started in my early twenties, when I decided to renovate our home. After many years, we turning it from a rundown home into something we were extremely proud of. I fell in love with architecture, furniture, pottery, quilting, sewing and anything I could learn to decorate my home and improve my enjoyment of it. Since then, I've worked intensely on my craft, which is all about color, line, and pattern. I was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina and enjoy spending time with my daughters and our grandchildren. I also love jewelry making, photography, playing the piano, as well as taking long walks in the fields close to my home. I strive to creatively translate the nature, architecture, and beauty around me into artwork for the home and for personal enjoyment. All these different hobbies are about putting your heart into it, and ultimately creating art with your hands.
