Synopsis

I’m a world changer. With no athletic ability or true fame to attribute it to, one day, I decided to be okay with my skin and to be someone who lit up the room when I entered and left an impression upon my exit.

I am the kid who is picked on in school to the point of wanting to die. I am the rejected girl with no date to the prom. I am the sick patient with no cure. I am the heartbroken girl that just wants to be loved. I am the high school dropout that has a higher statistical chance at being unemployed than successful. I am destined to be all of these things.

I am determined to be none of these things.

That’s the thing about being a world changer, you have to be willing to leave something behind. I chose to shed the bad and rise up with all that was good. This is my guide for taking an ordinary human being and turning that person into someone worth writing about.

A percentage of the profits of this book are given by the author to The Children's Alopecia Project.

About the Author

Since childhood, Laura has been completely bald. Her hair loss is as a result of Alopecia Universalis, an auto-immune condition for which there is no cure. Growing up, Laura was constantly teased and tormented at school, had few friends and was told that she would never amount to very much. Fearing rejection, she hid the fact that she wore a wig for fifteen years, even as an adult. Not anymore! She made the decision to boldly embrace her difference and created her entire branding around it. Laura Hudson, the Bald Marketer, is the co-creator of Women Behaving Baldly and an advocate for the Children's Alopecia Project. In addition to working full-time in the Marketing Industry, she travels performing speaking engagements incorporating both life and comedy into her events. Laura has three children and lives in Fort Mill, SC.
