Discover the Noble Teachings of Zen to Bring Peace and Happiness to Your Everyday Life!
Dear Friends,
Contrary to popular belief, Zen is not just for monks practicing Kung Fu. Zen is a practical and useful practice for anyone, regardless of religious beliefs.
Zen is about studying your subconscious and understanding your true nature. This book shows you how to apply Zen teachings and their essence in everyday life in Western society. I'm not an "absolute truth seeker" or unworldly type of person—I believe in practical plans and blueprints that genuinely help in living a better life. While I will discuss the origin of Zen and traditional practices, I will also share my perspective and translate many Zen truths into a more contemporary and practical language.
This is a “modern Zen lifestyle” book.

As someone who has been following the Zen philosophy for a few months now. I knew I had to get this book once I saw it. It has so much wisdom for beginners to become happy, peaceful, and overall the better version of yourself.
I recommend this to everyone who's been trying to get into the Zen philosophy.

My name is Ben and I recently read one of you books about Zen. I chose it because a doctor suggested researching mindfulness to help deal with my anxieties in life in general. A friend also recommended meditation. Now the first book of yours I read filled me with joy as I already shared many of your feelings including writing my own music. I could empathize with many of your pre-Zen emotions too. I have started practicing simple meditation in the morning. I'm getting better at relaxing. I know if I continue a door will eventually open in my mind which will allow me to expand my calm.

My name is Shaan and I'm from the UK. I've just finished reading your book 'Zen: Beginner's Guide' and would just like to say a huge thank you to you! I have been interested in spirituality and zen for a while now, I have read so many books trying to develop a better understanding of it all, but I found next to none of them helpful, with hard to understand terms and language, and none of them actually putting into practical terms HOW to live zen. Then I downloaded your book from Amazon, and it was exactly what I was looking for! It was easy to read, in plain, easy to understand English, and actually explained things practically. I now have such a better understanding of zen, it really isn't hard to understand at all like so many other books have led me to believe! So thank you for writing the book, you have helped me a lot, and I can't wait to read some of your other work!

I'm currently on my second book of yours, love your style of writing, straight forward with a hint of humour!
I have been an ME/CFS sufferer for 9 years, but I'm trying my best to make acomplete recovery, mediation and mindfulness is a big part of the recovery process and I've been struggling with that aspect for a while, but your booksare really helping to get my head around it.
Keep up the good work mate :)

Your book is my first introduction to Zen and I'm a full believer already and am looking for another book to keep reading about the healthier living.
Overall, I am a pretty healthy person that puts healthy eating and exercise at the top of my list of priorities. I'm also a worrier and live with a lot of stress/anxiety that I completely manufacture on my own. So, your book is pointing me in the right direction to enjoy living each moment to its fullest.
Thank you for your work in introducing the concept of Zen!

I read your book in about three days, it was a nice casual read and l liked the trip into your own personal journey. But the one of the truly great parts of reading your book was the no bull*hit existential stuff that clouds a lot of other reading on Zen. Thanks for a simple plan for my Zen journey!
