Randy A. Birken, MD, completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1980. He was appointed chief resident and went on to lead a successful career in private practice. Dr. Birken specialized in pelvic reconstruction surgery and uro-gynecology before post graduate training on bio-identical hormone optimization. His offices in Texas as well as Colorado.
Dr. Birken has served as a clinical assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine and is on the medical advisory board for BioTE Medical. He is certified through Worldlink Medical in advanced bio-identical hormone optimization and has trained with the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation.
Additionally, Dr. Birken obtained a master’s in liberal arts degree in 2000 and has published both medical articles as well as three collections of short stories, a novel, and one nonfiction book.
Dr. Birken embraces healthy living, including both diet and exercise. He and his wife, Liz, live in The Woodlands, Texas, and Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
