About the Author
Katy Craig has worked professionally with higher education selection processes for 17 years. This includes those for college admission, honors and leadership programs, and various national and regional scholarships. She is also a national and international speaker on leadership and on personal and professional development. Katie Kramer is president and CEO of the Boettcher Foundation, where she leads the philanthropic organization in both scholarship and grantmaking work. Katie served as the foundation's first scholarship director and was instrumental in establishing the processes and systems the foundation continues to use. As a board member of the National Scholarship Provider's Association, Katie frequently shares best-practices and other guidance with scholarship providers throughout the country.
